This symbol was used by American "hoboes" in the earlier part of the twentieth century. It indicated "if you are sick, they will take care of you here".
Street Health is "Going Green”! As part of this campaign we would like to offer our donors the opportunity to begin receiving their Bi-Annual newsletter by email.
Our goal is to switch 30% of our donors to an E-Newsletter by the end of the year for a savings of over $2000. Any savings will go towards our much needed programs and services. Join the movement!

How You Can Get Involved
Together we can ensure homeless and under-housed people in downtown Toronto receive compassionate care. Whatever your time or resources, there is a way to take action.
Your donation makes the work of Street Health possible.
Gifts in Kind
Do you have any gently used warm winter clothing or an old cell phone?
Plan a fundraising event, or use your experience with homelessness to serve.
Donate your Shoppers Optimum Points; A Unique Way to Support Street Health!
Street Health is now registered to receive donations of Shoppers Drug Mart Optimum Points. Anyone can donate some or all of their points using the following steps:
Follow the directions under: Donate/Transfer Points
Select: Street Health from the drop down menu
If you are not already a Shoppers Optimum Member, just ask for a card the next time you visit Shoppers Drug Mart.
Every 8,000 points donated, provides approx. $10 in savings. Street Health will use these points to purchase personal hygiene and personal care supplies for clients. By donating points you are helping Street Health reduce our supply expenses and ensure funds are used to support our services.
With your support, this point transfer opportunity can help Street Health optimize our fundraising dollars while ensuring we meet clients’ needs.
